Mr. Raun K. Kaufman will discuss the key principles of The Son-Rise Program which led to his own personal story of recovery. The material is designed for parents and professionals caring for children challenged by Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorders, PDD and other related developmental difficulties. The lecture will focus on specific strategies and techniques that can be used immediately with children with developmental challenges to:

• Deal with tantrums and repetitive "stimming" behaviors

Share them with local families, friends and support groups so that anyone who sees it can access more information about our organization and has the opportunity to hear about a unique way to help their special child. Caudwell Charity and Scholarship Information

The Caudwell Children Charity is graciously offering up to 80% funding for eligible applicants.

In January 2005 the Caudwell Children Charity partnered with The Son-Rise Program, in a bid to make the home based programme more accessible to families from all over the UK. They teamed up with the Autism Treatment Center of America for The Son-Rise Program Start-Up course in London.

Due to the huge response they received to their offer to fund the cost of the course, the number of places available had to be doubled, which allowed them to help nearly 300 families (at the time) touched by Autism.

Their support for these families didn't stop there – they have also been funding the next stage of the programme (the advanced courses) – The Son-Rise Program Maximum Impact and The Son-Rise Program New Frontiers. Since the beginning of this partnership the Caudwell Children Charity has offered funding to help more than 1000 UK families.

About The Son-Rise Program^®in the United Kingdom

The Son-Rise Program is a powerful and effective treatment for children and adults challenged by Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger's Syndrome, and other developmental difficulties.

We have been offering Son-Rise Program training courses in the United Kingdom since 1998. Thousands of parents from throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and from across the globe have used this program to help their children (from toddlers, to teens, to adults). Of very special interest to UK residents is the generous funding available through Caudwell Children which provides up to 80% funding to those who qualify (see below)

The Son-Rise Program was created by authors and teachers Barry "Bears" Neil Kaufman and Samahria Lyte Kaufman when their son, Raun, was diagnosed as severely and incurably autistic. The Kaufman’s unique program, which marked a departure from existing methods of treatment, transformed Raun from a mute, withdrawn child with an IQ of less than 30 into a highly verbal, socially-interactive youngster with a near-genius IQ. He went on to graduate from an ivy-league university, bearing no trace of his former condition. Raun Kaufman now acts as the current CEO of Autism Treatment Center of America. He offers exceptional, breakthrough strategies for overcoming the emotional and physical expressions of autism.

Potty Trained in 3 Weeks

When her son was diagnosed 3 years ago, Nicoleta found the symptoms of autism that her son exhibited to be devastating. Anthony Got All His Language Back
